Delivery Structure and Modes of Study |
Face to face | Full-time
The full-time delivery involves 20 hours per week face to face classroom teaching, tutorial and/or assessment consultation, with full time students at AQF5 level being recommended to spend approximately 10 additional hours per week to complete the given assessment tasks.
To reach the 20 hour delivery requirement each Unit of Study will have two full days of teaching per week, timetabled 9:00am – 5:00pm with a one-hour break = 14hrs delivery and in addition to the 14hrs, each Unit of Study will have one day of tutorial and/or assessment consultation timetabled 9:00am – 4:00pm with a one-hour break = 6hrs. This will be reflected on the Study Schedules.
A part-time option is available for domestic students, however; International students on Australian student visa must enrol in full time studies.
In some cases, students may apply to complete up to one third of their course via distance learning. All distance learning, or ‘self-study’ Units, will be timetabled to be completed alongside another face-to-face Unit and will be supported by scheduled tutorials for additional assistance should it be required.
